Who I Am

I am a Professional Coach, graduating from Benedictine Coaching of Pittsburg, LLC Leadership and Life Coach Training for Women in Faith-Based Ministries. This two-year Leadership and Life Coach Training for Women in Faith-Based Ministries is accredited by the International Coaching Federation. ICF is the leading global organization for coaches and coaching. ICF is dedicated to advancing the coaching profession by setting high standards, providing independent certification and building a worldwide network of trained coaching professionals.

With more than forty years of experience in senior management and cultural and educational programming, I have been a sought-out listener. I have successfully developed greater expertise and potential in others, championed the advancement of marginalized communities, and encouraged the spiritual growth of church members.

I value listening, empathy, relationship, connection to the Sacred, and creativity. My strengths are insight, vision for new possibilities, and resilience. These strengths enabled me to overcome challenges such as career-driven re-locations, church unrest, and cancer survival. This combination of values and strengths led me to life coaching as the avenue for encouraging transformation of both individuals and society.

As a lifelong learner, I consume knowledge through a variety of media, being drawn to a number of authors, genres, and podcasts.

I am drawn to exploring spirituality through the work of various authors and theologians, private prayer and meditation, and congregational worship. My spiritual foundation supports social justice action of legislative advocacy and public protests.

The creativity of art and music is food for my soul. This spans appreciation for the talents of others to my own drawing, playing the bowed psaltery, and singing soprano in my church choir.

My education includes Bachelor of Arts and Masters Degrees, Syracuse University and courses at other institutions of higher learning.
